“量子”,自然界中最微小、不可再分的能量单位，宛如构成微观世界的基本“像素”， 一切物质和能量的变化都从它开始。1900年，德国物理学家普朗克首次提出“量子假设”，人类由此叩开量子世界之门。此后一个多世纪，量子理论不断被深化与验证，从激光、半导体到量子通信、量子计算、量子加密，量子科技逐步走向现实。
2025 年，诺贝尔物理学奖授予“量子隧穿”，不仅标志量子科技又迈出关键一步，也让这一长期活跃于科研前沿的词汇重回公众视野。同年，苏州谋划建立量子国际科技产业园，标志量子科技从实验室走向城市，从微观粒子延展至宏观治理。一个全新的“量子时代”正在浮现，而量子科技在城市空间中将承载怎样的未来愿景，也正成为新的命题。
“Quantum”, the smallest, indivisible unit of energy, like the fundamental “pixels” of the microscopic world, from which all matter and energy transformations begin. Since Max Planck proposed the quantum hypothesis in 1900, quantum theory has evolved from lasers and semiconductors to quantum communication, computing, and encryption, gradually becoming a part of reality.
In 2025, the Nobel Prize in Physics recognized “quantum tunneling,” marking a major step in quantum science and bringing the term back into public focus. That year, Suzhou planned the Quantum International Science and Technology Industrial Park, bringing quantum technology from the lab to the city, from microscopic particles to macro-scale innovation.
苏州量子国际科技产业园聚焦“量子芯片产业化”，未来将启动国内首条量子芯片自动化智能产线，打造贯通“基础研究、技术攻关、成果转化、金融服务”的全链条生态。这样的前沿科技园区，将以怎样的面貌呈现于公众？
为以最高标准塑造园区空间形态，苏州相城区人民政府将邀约国内外顶尖设计团队参与角逐。无论是前沿科技的承载力，还是未来产业社区的想象边界，都将在本次规划设计竞赛中被重新定义。
Focusing on the “industrialization of quantum chips,” the park will launch China’s first automated intelligent quantum chip production line and develop a full-chain ecosystem covering basic research, technological breakthroughs, results commercialization, and financial services. How will such a cutting-edge science park be presented to the public?
To shape the park’s spatial form to the highest standards, the Xiangcheng District Government of Suzhou will invite top domestic and international design teams to compete. From supporting frontier technologies to imagining the boundaries of future industrial communities, all will be redefined in this planning and design competition.

苏州量子国际科技产业园选址于苏州市相城区北部核心区，依托画师湖生态片区而建。
园区地理区位优越，畅联苏嘉杭、绕城、锡太等高速及相城大道、G524等主干道，15分钟可达高铁苏州北站，快速接入全国高铁网络，毗邻苏州地铁10号线高铁北城站，轨道出行便捷高效。
Suzhou Quantum International Science and Technology Industrial Park is located in the northern core area of Xiangcheng District, Suzhou, built around the ecological Huashi Lake area. The park enjoys a superior geographic location, with seamless access to expressways such as Sujia-Hang, Ring, and Xitai, as well as main roads including Xiangcheng Avenue and G524. It is a 15-minute drive to Suzhou North High-Speed Railway Station, providing rapid access to the national high-speed rail network, and is adjacent to the High-Speed Rail North City Station on Suzhou Metro Line 10, offering convenient and efficient rail transit.

Suzhou Quantum International Science and Technology Industrial Park leverages a superior ecological foundation and robust tech industry base to create a globally minded model of a future city. Public Service Function Zone
Featuring core facilities including a Quantum R&D Headquarters, Conference Center, Exhibition & Exchange Center, Apartments, and a hotel, the development establishes an efficient and well-integrated service system to support research, collaboration, and daily life functions on site.
Innovation and R&D Function Zone
Anchored in its vision of becoming a “global hub for quantum science and technology,” the project establishes an integrated innovation platform combining R&D clusters, shared laboratories, incubators, and an advanced training institute, thereby forming a collaborative and open scientific innovation ecosystem.
Achievement Transformation Function Zone
Focusing on the commercialization of quantum technologies, the project establishes a graded system for enterprises spanning from pilot testing to mass production. By planning pilot-scale facilities, manufacturing plants, and corporate headquarters, and introducing upstream and downstream industry chain partners, it aims to create a manufacturing-oriented innovation and technology transfer platform.

获得竞赛一等奖的参赛单位，在获奖结果公布后，需根据评审委员会及主办方的意见与建议，在原方案基础上开展一轮同等深度的优化完善工作。
The total prize pool amounts to RMB 2.8 million, with four groups of design firms, including:

The design team awarded the First Prize must, after the results are announced, provide one round of design optimization at the same level of detail based on the original proposal, in accordance with the opinions and suggestions of the judges and the organizer.
2025年11月19日，「画师湖量子谷」苏州量子国际科技产业园规划设计国际竞赛启动会暨踏勘答疑会于苏州市自然资源和规划局相城分局顺利召开。
苏州市自然资源和规划局相城分局局长周雪峰、党组成员兼区土地储备中心主任张锐、总建筑师洪斌，苏州市相城区阳澄湖镇副镇长胡琼，以及量子产业发展专项工作组规建组组长陈栋等出席会议，并与参赛设计单位围绕竞赛的整体愿景、目标等进行了深入沟通交流。
会后，参会领导与设计单位共同赴项目现场开展实地踏勘，并对生态基底、区位条件、周边建设及未来发展潜力进行了系统研判，为后续方案设计奠定基础。
On 19 November 2025, the Launch Event & Site Survey for the “Huashi Lake Quantum Valley” International Competition for the Planning and Design of the Quantum Science and Technology Industrial Park, Suzhou was successfully held at the Xiangcheng Branch of Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning.
Mr. Zhou Xuefeng, Director of the Xiangcheng Branch; Mr. Zhang Rui, Party Leadership Group Member and Director of the District Land Reserve Center; Mr. Hong Bin, Chief Architect; Ms. Hu Qiong, Deputy Mayor of Yangchenghu Town, Xiangcheng District; and Mr. Chen Dong, Head of the Planning & Construction Group of the Special Task Force for Quantum Industry Development, attended the meeting. They engaged in in-depth discussions with the participating design teams regarding the overall vision, objectives, and key considerations of the competition.
Following the meeting, government leaders and design teams conducted an on-site investigation of the project area, carrying out a systematic assessment of its ecological base, spatial and locational conditions, surrounding development, and future growth potential, thereby laying a solid foundation for the subsequent design proposals.
